Jolea and Aubrey said “I do” on one of the few warm days we receive in Texas in January. The day started with clouds in the sky. However, as the day moved into the ceremony, the clouds broke and sunshine warmed the smiling faces of family and friends. The crisp colors of their wedding truly popped against the scenery of Sparrow Creek Ranch.

One of the special touches to Rose’s beautiful day at SCR was her and Kyle’s sweet pup walking her down the aisle! Have you ever seen a dog walking the bride down the aisle?! We’ve now seen this twice at SCR and it is so sweet! SCR is a ranch wedding venue. Meaning - we are dog friendly and don’t require kenneling or other strict on/off-site rules.

We chose SCR first because it is so beautiful. We are a bit into restoration ourselves so loved the story the barn tells and how old things can be brought back to life for a new purpose. We also chose SCR because of its flexibility. We are both very laid back and did not want a venue where we felt we didn't have any breathing room. And I mean have you seen the chandeliers?!

Ross and Brooke Baxter were married on October 31, 2020, in an vintage and rustic styled wedding here at Sparrow Creek Ranch. …these two opted for a softer palette of dusty pinks, peaches, grays, and of course greenery. Under the clear Texas skies, the Fall weather was nothing short of perfect for the couple and their guests during their outdoor ceremony and barn reception.

Texas Wildflowers in the Spring at the Barn at Sparrow Creek Ranch are unbeatable and a coveted season for our brides. Some years the field of wildflowers is a vast array of yellow, some years it is covered in paint brushes, and other years it is a mix of nothing short of the rainbow.

Early to mid-December in Texas often offers very cool and pleasant weather, making outdoor ceremonies at Sparrow Creek Ranch a huge hit. Taylor’s long-sleeved fitted bridal gown has to be one of SCR Winter favorites! Paired with her long detailed veil, Taylor’s bridal portraits are absolutely stunning. We are confident when we tell our couples that Sparrow Creek Ranch can fit any and all wedding visions! Our friends at Tipsy Trailer always knock the mobile bar service out of the park for our Sparrow Creek Ranch couples! Tipsy Trailer is traveling drink station including alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages. All of their services are customized based upon their customer’s vision for the perfect bar service. They are on top of our Preferred Vendors list and a bonus, they are located right here in Graham, Texas.

SCR is busy all year long! People are always surprised we host weddings all year long since we are an open-air venue without A/C in the main event space. When our couples follow the top tips for summer weddings these events are some of our favorites — who doesn’t love a summer night?

Courtney and Kevin Carter were married at Sparrow Creek Ranch on August 29, 2020. Together with their family and friends, they said their I do’s under a spectacular Texas sunset. Choosing to have a sunset ceremony made for such a wonderful relief from the warm summer Texas heat, and the views looking out onto the hills of Graham, Texas were jaw dropping that day.

At SCR, it never crosses our mind to jump online and buy something brand new for the venue. We wait until we find what we need in a field, old building, or the sort, or we make it.

The wedding day was celebrated with SCR’s vintage tones and decor pieces a major piece of the Mitchell’s overall dark and moody wedding theme. Their wedding decor was perfect with Sparrow Creek Ranch’s intricate details woven into our beautiful repurposed wood, mirrors, and more.
