Location, Location, Location (and Lighting!!)
At SCR, we pride ourselves on recommending talented vendors who know SCR inside and out, making sure that each couple has the ideal day without bumps in the road. For photographers, this is super important. Where does the sun set? Where should the couples take their photos? What location is best for family photos at the time of day for this ceremony? What angle is best to capture bridesmaid and bride fun in the bridal suite? Whitney is extremely efficient with her time and knows how to maximize the space to deliver beautiful photos.
Interior Photography Expertise
Most importantly, SCR is a romantic venue with vintage lighting throughout our reclaimed wood interior. This means photographers need to be prepared to take photos in darker settings. This is not an easy task. The hard truth is that we've seen less experienced photographers struggle to capture receptions at SCR in all of its glory because they don't have the right equipment, experience, or know-how. It takes a pro to have beautiful reception photos, and we trust Whitney to do just that for our couples.
Gorgeous Bridal Portraits
Some of our favorite photos from her at SCR have been bridals, especially when fury babies are included. We have spectacular views and spaces to utilize, and Whitney does a wonderful job capturing the beauty of the property. Have you booked her yet?!

Whitney has attended most of our Open Houses and she is the first vendor we call for availability to meet our couples. She is so kind and her sweet spirit is the type of energy we want around us on Open House days. When we get the news that Whitney will be photographing an upcoming wedding, we literally jump for joy!
