Wedding Design Planning: Kendra Duke Design
Kendra Duke Design has an amazing décor collection that will send your wedding straight to the magazines! While SCR provides are a plentiful bounty of vintage decor our couples love we don’t have an extensive table-top or small-decor collection.
Kendra can give every table and set up the details you are looking for with her collection of decor big and small. All the weddings Kendra and her team touch at SCR are one of a kind and the type that makes you stop to catch your breath.
But, you must make sure these gorgeous details are captured, and no one is better than Double Knot Weddings. Micah is behind the lens and is an all-time SCR favorite photographer. Her galleries are beyond inspiring and give our couples all the happy tears as they look back over their weddings days at Sparrow Creek Ranch here in North Texas.
Micah is not only talented but a dream to work with. We often hear from our couples they never dreamed they’d feel so comfortable with a photographer and have so much fun. I had a groom recently tell me he was dreading the engagements and portraits when the wedding time actually came. But, Micah made him laugh and E.N.J.O.Y. his engagement session and he was looking forward to taking photos with his bride on his wedding day!
OUTDOOR CEREMONY AT THE GROVE
The Grove at SCR provides a beautiful outdoor ceremony for our couples who love seeing the rolling hills and trees behind them. This space is also directly in front of the barn meaning our brides have a grand entrance from the big barn doors opening and them walking out to see their groom for the first time! The concrete path all the way to the deck at the Grove is a clean and straight walk for the bride without any obstacles as well. The trees at the Grove ar Live Oaks meaning they are green year-round but especially beautiful in spring-like here in April!
BARN RECEPTION
Who doesn’t love a festive, funny wedding party entrace lineup with all the bridesmaids and groomsmen coming in with signs, rides, and dance moves to get everyone ready to celebrate!?
FIRST LOOK WITH DAD
Paige had a first look with her dad before the ceremony out near the front gate at SCR where we have some of our largest, willowy-looking oaks ready for great photos! I love seeing a First look with dad or mom or both as it gives couples more time to soak in that alone time with their parents before the rush of the day really starts.
SPRING RANCH WEDDING PARTY INSPIRATION
Gage’s grey suit with light florals was the perfect match for this day to let the greenery of spring bring color to the rest of the design. Paige’s gown was full skirt during the ceremony and then transitioned to a tight fitted gown at the reception.
