SCR Venue is INCREDIBLE. Highly affordable, unique, gorgeous and has indoor and outdoor options for your ceremony (in the event it rains! Like it did for ours). The staff is friendly, kind and extremely helpful in the wedding planning process too! Kalli is extremely knowledgeable and is willing to help with any questions or ideas. She was an angel! This is the perfect venue for the DIY bride or the bride with their own vision of exactly how they want their wedding to be. The bridal suite is to die for and not only is the outside of the barn/field area picturesque, but the inside is absolutely beautiful as well. Plenty of restrooms for your guests and our guest raves about how gorgeous it was all night. If you’re on the fence—don’t be—this is the ONE!

Callie and Kane got married on a rainy July day with their family and friends from all over the country at Sparrow Creek Ranch. They prepared to have their ceremony inside the Barn with the rain, but the skies cleared just in time for them to move it back outside to the Grove. Callie’s design vision was perfectly boho with a touch of rustic chic with a variety of colors that were perfect against SCR and the fields that surrounded us.

PROPOSAL STORY

We spent this last year together building our relationship and growing as individuals. We were tested with many ups and downs, but it only brought us closer to each other, and on December 20th, 2020, Kane took me to New York. A much needed vacation that we were determined NOT to cancel due to COVID. On December 21st, 2020, we walked to Central Park from our hotel where Kane proposed to me in Sheep's Meadow. Normally, there would be hundreds and hundreds of people in that park. But, due to COVID, we had a super intimate proposal there with maybe five people total in the meadow. So, with snow on the ground and the NYC skyline as our background, I said YES! It was the most incredible day of my life.

What moment are you most looking forward to on your wedding day?

We have family and friends coming together from all over the states. We are MOST excited about having EVERYONE from EVERYWHERE coming together to meet for the first time and celebrate our love as we become one.

LOVE STORY

I truly found my best friend in Kane. He lifts me up when I need it, makes me laugh every single day, keeps a smile on my face, loves my little one fiercely, and does not ever make me question our relationship. I have prayed and prayed for a husband like Kane. And to say that my prayers were answered would truly be an understatement.
