Kalli, Kevin, and Allen are truly wonderful and you can just tell this place means so much to them.
I also HIGHLY recommend renting the Cabin which is literally 1 mins from SCR. My bridal party used it to get ready in and it was PERFECT. Such a beautiful Cabin.

The Best Couples in Texas, SCR is the lucky one…
The world of weddings is full of emotions, beauty, and since COVID a lot of change. During the boom year of weddings in 2022, recovering from postponements, some vendors fell through the cracks. This amazing couple had one of the hardest vendor challenges, if not the most challenging, I’ve ever experienced in 11 years of venue management. SCR learned important vendor lessons from this day, but what we learned most of all is the value of long-term relationships with amazing wedding vendors we trust. And secondly, we were reminded how lucky we are to host couples who are focused on their marriage. Couples that know there will be bumps in the road, but what truly matters is the covenant with God and to each other in marriage. Nikki’s grace and strength in how she handled the situation will stay with me forever. She is a true woman of integrity and we are beyond thankful she choose us to marry her love, Chase, at SCR.
CEREMONY AT THE GROVE - UNDER THE OAK TREES
The Grove and the Creekside Patio are both stunning outdoor ceremony options directly in front and being SCR. The entrances to both are unique; the backdrops are both beautiful, and choosing between them is always hard for our brides! Nikki decided on The Grove for that golden light effect coming through the trees and to keep the Creekside Patio for photos and cocktail hour.
The boho color pallet often has rust and mauve colors at the center, but we loved how Nikii added gold and oranges into this mix to give it a special touch and more dimension! The added pampas grass in our big glass jugs down the aisle was the simple touch that added the whimsical outdoor aesthetic we love.
DANCING THE NIGHT AWAY UNDER THE CHANDELIERS
I can’t get enough of the photos of this wedding celebration! The barn was perfect for that rustic but chic wedding aesthetic Nikki carried throughout her wedding design. Her jewelry, gown, decor, and more were stunning for her November wedding day at SCR.
They added the fun marquee lights from SCR Recommended Vendor, Party Boutique North Texas, to the Creekside Patio in their last name, creating a fun space for guests to take photos. And it’s always a good idea to have an outdoor space for guests to retreat here and there for a private conversation and fresh air!
Imagine having to collect all your belongings after this fun night of dancing. Not with our Weekend Wedding Package! Our couple’s families have the early morning hours on Sunday to come back and collect their belongings and cars. A few hours —giving everyone peace—of mind is priceless.
