SCR becomes part of our bride’s hearts, and it shows! One of those brides we’ll never forget was Hunter and how much she loved her now husband, had the right mindset for wedding planning that was intentional but heavenly facing, and overall a joy to work with. She chose Lane Parker Weddings photography, who is so talented but based out of Houston, so not at SCR too often. But he was here for Hunter’s wedding and bridal session!

Hunter’s Review of Sparrow Creek Ranch
15/10 for sure! You will never regret picking SCR! Kalli and her dad truly put their hearts into SCR and into each one of their couples! We still have family members raving about how beautiful every single aspect of the barn was. There are plenty of places to stay around PK, which was great for our out of town guests (about 90% of our guests).
Wedding Planning Advice from Hunter
For me, finding a balance between what was important to me and what was important to everybody else was the hardest part. We found the right balance but it takes work. We had family stay at local Graham AirBnB’s and PK Lake’s Bass Ho
llow and Possum Hollow for a fun wedding weekend that included the lake.
Everything about our wedding day ran so smoothly and we treuly apprived yall (SCR) working with us for my dad to be involved. Thank yall so much!
We used local vendors and had a great expirence! Lane Parker Weddings was amazing, and Mark (bartender), Krissy (Krazy Cakes), and Joys Flowers were wonderful. Joy’s Flowers let me be the neediest bride EVER with my requirmenent for bluebonnets in my bridal bouquet and arrangments!
THE STORY Before I knew his name, I told my roommate, “I’m going to marry that one…”
Oh this is a long, fun story!
We met 2 weeks after high school (2011) at a church camp. Before I knew his name I told my roommate, “I’m going to marry that one,” and her reply was, “I think he has a girlfriend”. He did. She screwed it up all on her own, and we all wound up going to college together that fall.
Went on a few dates, but nothing came of it, and I transferred schools after sophomore year. Stayed friends over the next 5 years, and he would randomly call when driving through the metroplex to take me to dinner. I eventually went to a ranger game with him and his brother and now wife (then super new girlfriend), and she asked me “what exactly are y’all?” My reply was, “7 years of I don’t know,” and after I expressed that I didn’t want that to be my answer anymore, we started officially dating on May 25, 2018.
It’s been a rollercoaster, to say the least, but we both knew everything good and bad about the other beforehand as friends, and it’s helped our romantic relationship so so much.
We are blessed beyond measure to have such kind, and beautiful brides choose SCR for their North Texas Ranch Weddings. Nothing is more rewarding than seeing these gorgeous bridal session galleries full of smiles and genuine delight.
