Jordan, the groom, is from Arizona and also lived in Canada, so his guests were all coming from out-of-state or internationally. Read on to see what this true Texas Destination wedding was like for him and his family and friends!
The Wildcatter Ranch is a wonderful asset to all SCR couples and their guests. This partnership started strong with the first SCR couple, Kalli and George, having their rehearsal dinner at the Wildcatter Hotel the night before in 2012. Look through this fun evening celebrating Constnace and Jordan 10 years later at the Wildcatter Ranch House for rehearsal dinner, followed by the welcome party at the main State House the night before their SCR wedding and a look at the SCR Log Cabin for the groomsmen.

Constance’s Review of the Wildcatter for Rehersal Dinner
The beautiful dude ranch called Wildcatter Ranch where the majority of our out of town wedding guests stayed was epic. It is also very close to SCR and the cabin. The WC has is multiple activities to choose from for a real authentic country weekend for your guests which allows your bride and groom to take some of the hosting off their shoukder! Some activities our guests gushed about was feeding the longhorns around the property in the morning, horseback riding at sunset, skeet shooting, and ended the day by the pool overlooking the bluffs. Over all, SCR was the ultimate experience for our wedding and I can't recommend it enough. THANK YOU FOR THE BEST WEEKEND OF OUR LIVES!
GROOM & GROOMSMEN GETTING READY AT THE SCR LOG CABIN
Jordan and his groomsmen rented the SCR Log Cabin and Bunk House to be close to SCR and experience all this beautiful property has to offer. See more rental details for the Log Cabin Here.
Groom’s Review of the Log Cabin for his Groomsmen
Beyond the SCR itself, being close to the many activities in graham made the weekend that much better. Feeding the longhorns at Wildcatter Ranch, grabbing breakfast at Graham Town Square, and all the local sights were great accents to a wedding weekend. Renting our The Cabin was the best decision we made, hands down. The proximity to the venue, the open space and activities available, and the TONS of space in the cabin made us feel very comfortable when getting ready for a wedding. My out-of-town wedding party greatly appreciated the space/offerings of The Cabin, and the beautiful porch and views. I think coffee on the porch overlooking the Brazos was everybody’s highlight
Overall, it was the best weekend of our lives, and I truly think that Sparrow Creek Ranch, The Barn at Sparrow Creek, and The Cabin were a main reason why. You need to get married here and you will not regret it. Take advantage of the amazing local vendors who are familiar with the space and they will make your life easy! Neri’s, Krazy Kakes, Lane Parker Photos, and Joy’s flowers are all musts! Thank you SCR family!
Bride’s Review of The SCR Log Cabin
There are no words to discribe the wedding weekend we had at Sparrow Creek Ranch. If you are looking for a special, low maintenance, get away weekend with gorgeous scenic views have your wedding at this is the venue!!! SCR also owns a "out of a story book" cabin that is only .5 miles down the road from the barn. My husbands groomsmen (who are mostly out of state) stayed at the cabin and had the best experience. The cabin super cozy yet spacious for a large wedding party. The cabin also includes a pool with a large patio overlooking the bluffs and a large lake. WOW. Can't get much better than that for a country get away weekend!
GETTING READY AT THE WILDCATTER RANCH HOUSE
Constance chose to get ready at the Wildcatter Ranch House. This was a first for a SCR bride but a stunning option if you want an entire house to get ready in (see our included Bridal Suite here where most of our brides get ready!). The Ranch House overlooks the Brazos River and Palo Pinto Mountains giving ample photo opportunities.

This look into the night before a SCR wedding and getting ready at the Log Cabin and Wildcatter ranch is a fun example of how to get creative on planning your Destination Wedding here in Grahan, TX at The Barn at Sparrow Creek Ranch.
