Beginning with Christ

To tell Si and Jena’s story, we have to start with their ceremony. Looking back on the beautiful day, Jena’s favorite moment of the wedding was their feet washing ceremony. I think this should tell you a little about them! They washed each other’s feet, vowing to always serve each other. What a beautiful picture of John 13. They also spent the time to take communion together and to depict Ecclesiastes 4 in a cord tying moment.

Setting the Stage

Walking back to the beginning of the day, you can see the intricate details woven throughout this picturesque Texas outdoor wedding destination. Everything from the welcome table to the Bible guestbook to barn wood and chalkboard signs to rustic centerpieces. Scattered throughout the ceremony site and the vintage barn were hints of soft white flowers, baby’s breath and eucalyptus.

It’s Almost Time

As the bride and groom readied themselves for a day and night to remember, their family and friends were close by enjoying each minute with them. Bridesmaids and flower girls were bustling about in chic floral robes in the Bridal Suite, helping one another and helping their bride. The Groomsman are pictured here putting the finishing touches on their bow ties and suspenders.

Just Married

Si and Jena were married in The Grove, a serene grove of Live Oaks just outside of the Barn in front of their loved ones. They bounded down the aisle and the rest of the night was…history! They danced the night away and then after a sparkler send-off, they sped (well, drove safely) off in one of our getaway cars, a 1957 Bel-Air.
