Saying "I Do" Under the Summer Sun

Knowing the Texas heat can be unforgiving, Makaila and Jonah, like all our summer couples, married on our picturesque Creekside Patio for their ceremony. This fully shaded space provided a cool and comfortable setting for them to exchange vows. We can only imagine the joy radiating from them as they stood beneath the open sky, surrounded by the closest family and friends and surrounded by the trees!

A Sea of Wildflowers: Nature's Perfect Backdrop for North Texas Wedding

Sparrow Creek Ranch's sprawling fields burst with colorful wildflowers during May and June, and sometimes starts early with shows in April! These vibrant blooms provided a stunning backdrop for Makaila and Jonah's wedding portraits across the fields directly across from the Barn—meaning our couples don't have to go far to get stunning portraits! The couple's photographer, Kiser Images, who is an SCR favorite and Recommended Vendor, captured their love story against a canvas of wildflowers, creating images that will forever be cherished.

Something Borrowed, Stunningly Beautiful

While the natural beauty of the ranch was the perfect backdrop for their portraits post-ceremony, Makaila and Jonah added a touch of elegance with floral rentals from Something Borrowed Blooms. This innovative company offers a budget-friendly alternative to traditional floral arrangements. Makaila and Jonah's centerpieces and decor rentals from Something Borrowed Blooms seamlessly complemented the natural surroundings, adding a touch of personalized charm without breaking the bank! When I saw these flowers in real life sitting out on tables the day before the wedding (because our couples with the Weekend Package get all day Friday!) I kept thinking, “Why do they have flowers out!” but then I kept realizing they were Borrowed Blooms and silk - not real! They fooled me multiple times!
