These two sweethearts were blessed beyond measure with a surprise as they were planning their big day. They postponed the big celebration so their newborn daughter could attend and be part of their story of marriage, family, and commitment. What a gift of a day this was!
BRIDAL LOFT FOR EXTRA SPACE AND TRANQUILITY
This stunning bride added the Bridal Loft to her SCR rental to give her some space to spread out after hair and makeup were complete in the downstairs Bridal Suite (always included in SCR rentals). Then she headed up the stairs to change into her gown and relax before the ceremony in a stunning and mess-free atmosphere (bridesmaids’ bags and cups and …all that were left behind downstairs and out of the way!)

BOHO WEDDING with SAGE & AMBER COLORS
We love our boho birdes, but secretly we love it even more when they add a green or teal to their overall rust and amber decor! The barn interior is covered in completely repurposed and recovered wood. Nothing new (barely) at SCR! Each board was hand-cut and placed, often requiring 10x the time and labor that would go into simply putting in a wooden wall. The mottled dark brown tones are the perfect backdrop for greens and cool tones.
Boho trends focusing on rust, terracotta, and amber are a vibe we hope to see for a long time! But to balance out the colors already present in the barn itself (amber), a cool tone of green, teal, or sage green brings the perfect balance and POP, so everything doesn’t perfectly blend.
FIRST LOOK ON THE BALCONY
These sweethearts did their first look out on the balcony of the Bridal Loft. This beautiful space overlooks the Palo Pinto Mountains and off into the distance PK Lake.
