Colorful Garden-Party Wedding Design!
Kelby, our bride, designed a "playful garden party" wedding day! This vibrant and whimsical theme brought a breath of fresh air to the ranch. Bright, cheerful colors like coral, sunshine yellow, and periwinkle blue were woven throughout the floral arrangements, creating a joyful and celebratory atmosphere. The florals, a riot of textures and blooms, were the star of the show, and even better — they were DIY! Yep, beautiful, colorful DIY faux florals for this beautiful day! In September, with the heat outside is still pretty harsh in Texas — faux florals are great idea to save worry over wilting!
The ceremony, held under the canopy of live oak trees we call The Grove, was filled with heartfelt vows and joyous laughter. The playful garden party theme continued into the reception, with whimsical decorations, delicious food, and lively music. PLUS tons of amazing DIY projects from the couple that kept the theme of family and closeness going through every detail!
Couples Love Story
Daniel and I are High School Sweethearts. We come from a very small town/school so we practically grew up together! We have spent many special milestones together, including prom, high school and college graduation, first jobs, and now, the best of all, Marriage! Daniel had prepared the proposal to be sweet and intimate with just us two, but when the original photographer became ill, Daniel had to switch plans. With the help of a few of his cousins he was able to still keep the proposal on the intended date, 11/11. We had dinner with one of his cousin’s family before we were supposed to take "family photos" for a calendar to gift his grandparents for Christmas. As we were taking these "photos," Daniel proposed, and I was completely surprised!
Why did you choose SCR?
After searching for a few venues, I came across SCR late one night. I immediately fell in love with the pictures on the website. The next morning I told Daniel about it and planned to schedule a tour. When I didn't see a date that worked for us, I messaged Kalli, and she worked with us to schedule a tour. At the tour the venue was obviously stunning, we got to see first hand why SCR is amazing as a Bride was setting up the day before her wedding and no one seemed stressed. Kalli was so amazing during and after the tour with any questions wehad. After that day, I felt I had found the perfect place for our wedding and knew I had to book SCR!
