Thanksgiving Building Memories

Each Holiday is an excuse for this group to roll our sleeves up and give dad, aka Kevin, a big helping hand on the current SCR project.

Thanksgiving 2018 was a week-long family project in the kitchen, and we're still thinking about the memories made then and all our building weekends.

In typical Fullerton fashion, all day and into the night, we kept fueling up on pie and turkey as we sanded, re-purposed, oiled, and put up an excellent section of ceiling in the to-be (family) dining room (aka expanded area in the prep kitchen)!

These photos from 2018 are fun to look back on, that’s for sure. Everything is done by hand at SCR and slowly, with reused materials and with intention. I just happened to be pregnant and on camera duty, that week but all of SCR has been built like this.

SCR’s kitchen is a pre-kitchen only, but a fantastic addition with a large industrial fridge for cakes especially and lots of space for caterers to prep! The kitchen has an external door for catering and other vendors to use.

The kitchen at SCR has become a great place for the grooms to take solo photos too! Yes, it turned out so cool (are you surprised) that even the kitchen is photo worthy at The Barn at Sparrow Creek Ranch. We are family-built, and operated, and a unique venue for those who appreciate hard work and family.
