Emerald Winter Wedding Inspiration: Shiloh and Marty’s wintery ranch wedding at Sparrow Creek
First off, this couple is special as…. THEY GOT ENGAGED AT SCR TOO!
These two knew they wanted to get married within the year, but Marty was waiting on the ring and the perfect time to ask officially. So Shiloh’s mom called me and set up the whole surprise proposal during their tour at SCR! Talk about a fun memory to have at your wedding venue!
BRIDE TRIBE - EMERALD GREEN BRIDESMAID DRESSES
Emerald green, the jewel tone of the season, took center stage for Shiloh's bridal party! Her bridesmaids in their emerald green-toned bridesmaids' dresses with a mix-and-match flair were fun and bright but in the best way! Their flowing gowns, each a shade of emerald, added a touch of elegance as they moved through the celebration.
And…. of course, the Beer Donkeys made the evening pretty special, too!
CEREMONY AT THE GROVE
Nestled amidst the rolling hills and endless skies of North Texas, Sparrow Creek Ranch offers a haven for couples seeking a rustic yet refined wedding experience. And for Shiloh and Marty, it became the breathtaking canvas for their enchanting emerald-green winter wedding in November.
WEDDING RECEPTION at SPARROW CREEK RANCH
This crisp November day at Sparrow Creek Ranch transformed into a fall wedding wonderland. The rustic charm of the ranch, with its weathered wood and industrial beams, was perfect for Shiloh’s vision of deep greens and gold for her big day! Tables shimmered under the soft glow of the antique chandeliers on the dance floor!
Shiloh wore a stunning sleeved gown for her winter wedding, but once the vows were over and it was time to dance, she changed into the perfect bridal jumpsuit so she could dance all night long with her new hubby without restraint!
Shiloh and Marty's emerald green winter wedding at Sparrow Creek Ranch was a testament to the cheeriness of the winter season for Texas weddings! We love our winter weddings at SCR!
If you're dreaming of a winter wedding in the heart of Texas’ Hill Country of the North (Palo Pinto Mountains) let Sparrow Creek Ranch whisk you away to your best day ever!

WHY DID YOU CHOOSE SCR: The vibes and the ownership! It's gorgeous, and we loved that it's family-owned and Christ-centered.
WHAT’S THE VIBE?! The most important thing was that we just wanted it to be unique. Many weddings are DIY and on a budget, and I still think it will be perfect. We wanted to stick to wedding traditions while making it our own and a little different from a typical wedding. For instance, we are taking communion after vows and doing a dad/daughter dance and a mom/son dance! We are also doing a "Mexican circle dance" that Marty's family has in their culture.
HOW THEY MET: Marty and I met on Hinge but never actually met in person. Fast forward a few months, and Shiloh was preparing to go into the Army. She needed a personal trainer, and Marty volunteered to train her. After the training started, they were inseparable and eventually made it official! Shiloh is no longer going into the Army, either ;)
