Vintage Winter Wedding - North Texas - Sparrow Creek Ranch

Ross and Brooke Baxter were married on October 31, 2020, in an vintage and rustic styled wedding here at Sparrow Creek Ranch. Breaking away from the traditional Halloween decor, these two opted for a softer palette of dusty pinks, peaches, grays, and of course greenery. Under the clear Texas skies, the Fall weather was nothing short of perfect for the couple and their guests during their outdoor ceremony and barn reception.

The smallest of vintage details throughout this wedding brought the entire ambiance of the day together. From the layout of the stationary using the antique scissors and wax sealer, the beautifully designed wedding bands and of course the elegant hanger holding Brooke’s long sleeved wedding gown. Pure perfection if we do say so ourselves!

Shout out to one of our top vendors, Joys Flowers here in Graham. We are always blown away by her creations and ability to bring the visions of our brides to life. There is a reason she is on our top vendor list, which you can see here.

We are going to stop your scroll now to admire Mrs. Baxter in her breathtaking winter bridal gown. The long laced sleeves adds a whole other elegance to her look which is the perfect choice for a late Fall wedding.

This right here is the most emotional first touch moments we have seen in this space. Between our kitchen and grand room hang these two old sliding doors. Within the white chipped paint these doors hold so much history and character. Once hanging in the earliest car dealerships in our small town, we bargained and bartered for them because we knew exactly the perfect place for them here at Sparrow Creek Ranch. These doors have been used as the backdrop for some many things but by far, this moment has reached the top spot. Amazing photography by Lorena Burns Photography in capturing this raw moment between our sweet couple.

This flower girl shot is the perfect candid wedding ceremony photograph, isn’t it?

A Fall reception out in our Barn at Sparrow Creek is wonderful. With the two large doors open wide to allow the cool breeze in and a view of the country , there is nothing better.

When we began hanging the chandeliers in our barn we had visions of couples dancing the night away underneath them with their romantic ambient light. Lorena Burns Photography put our visions into our couples reality with these first dance photographs.
